“The Artist always has the masters in his eyes.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Let’s explore an eye painting using watercolor, colored pencils, ink, and pens. I would not call myself a watercolor artist, but it’s a fun medium to explore.
In this 40 min video, I walk with you through every step of the process from start to finish. There was no original plan for the end result since this was an experiment. I believe that experimenting as an artist is paramount for growth and expansion in any craft. If you want to learn more about that, visit this recent video “Become a Better Artist & Gain New Brain Connections“, also I also did a video about perfectionism, titled “Stop Being A Perfectionist, You Are Not A Machine“. Because making things for fun and experimentation without being hard on yourself is KEY to expanding creativity!
This eye was created with the numerous tools listed below. You can also learn more about the tools I used, by visiting my Art Materials page. Give it a watch to see how it comes together while giving it a try with a similar style or create your own interpretation.
