C&I 25: Appreciation is the Golden Key to Success

12: How to Effectively Value and Price Your Own Art

It’s a good exercise to take a moment out of our crazy lives and acknowledge all of the people, places, situations, and experiences that have helped us along the way. What if you woke up tomorrow with only what you were grateful for today? It’s important to note that most people don’t choose to be thankless or unappreciative. Often an unapologetic drive to be successful, complete a task or live a better life means sometimes “living in the now” or remembering those that have helped us is overlooked. It takes practice to live in the now, and time to stop and be thankful for everything – the good or the bad. Doing so can be a golden key to a better career and further your journey as an artist or creative person.

SHOW QUOTES

  • Pricing is actually a pretty simple and straight forward thing. Customers will not pay literally a penny more than the true value of the product. – Ron Johnson
  • If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability. – Henry Ford
