  • 'Spiritual Apprehension of Truth' (The High Priestess) for the 78 Tarot Project Dedication to Connie Bender . A very deeply emotional work inspired by the loss of my High Priestess, my mentor and my person. This work was 6 months in the making for the 78 Tarot Project and never felt right and I could not figure out why. I had given in to what it became and asked for one weekend to try to resolve the block I was having. That weekend my High Priestess left this planet suddenly. I got to hold her hand on last time..... then I knew why I could not get it right. It was not the time. Now is the time. Since Feb 4th, 2019 - the day she went back to the Moon and the Stars, I have worked on this art as a dedication. Through tears, breakdowns, an unexpected ambulance ride and laughter I have produced this work for her. I hope she knows she changed my life forever.
